I'm a bit on the fence about this. Yes, I do agree that consistency is a good thing, but it could also be a good excuse for people to not start using the new styleguide, because "I want to keep my code consistent with the rest".

it is the obvious "use with sanity" statement which is applicable in most systems. I thought it would be good since all Google styleguides have this in there.
