Miscellaneous FR8x hardware notes

- Holding MENU on startup starts the reflash sequence.
- Holding EXIT on startup performs a factory reset. Beware, there is no warning!
- Holding EXIT + SET < on startup resets user programs only.
- Holding UP + DOWN on startup performs bellows calibration. The bellows are expected to be completely closed.
- Holding SET < + SET > on startup starts the self test sequence which does bellows calibration and then asks you to press all the buttons and turn all the dials on the instrument in order and plays notes to tell you which ones work. This could be very useful if you have anything stuck.
The object file of the bootloader indicates that it may be possible to run a GDB server on the accordion from startup! This would be fascinating but it is not known how this is done or if it is possible on regular units.
The FR-8x and FR-8xd (Dallape special edition) series are hardware identical. Reflashing a FR-8x with the Dallape firmware will add the Dallape expansion in slot 1 and change the opening screen to show the Dallape logo. Having done this, doing a factory SET reset will add the Dallape sets as the Sets 1-12. Reflashing back to the regular FR-8x firmware will restore the normal logo but retain the Dallape expansion sounds.
