The WebXR API will, in the future, expose an API for directly accessing individual trackable objects. Once this API is determined, it will likely be necessary to connect hit-test results with those kinds of objects. This support will likely cause changes/improvements to the hit-test API, especially related to the XRHitResult data structure.
