album-bg

album-bg is a utility for generating desktop backgrounds from your favourite album covers!

Features:

• Accepts an input image, and will generate an aesthetically-pleasing desktop background.

• Accepts an image URL, or a directory with images as input.

• Integrates with Spotify to automatically take your favourite tracks as input.

• Sets your system background

Installation

1. Clone this repository (not yet uploaded to NPM)

   git clone --depth=1 https://github.com/J-Curragh/album-bg

2. Install script globally (the '.' is important!)

   npm install -g .

3. Ensure ~/.npm is on your $PATH.

Example Use

album-bg -i ~/Downloads/input.jpg -o ~/Pictures/background.png
