    I've been poking around on my iPhone, looking for a mobile gist editor that I can use to capture thoughts on the fly. Wound up downloading a couple and trying them out. I tried [QuickGist](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/quickgist/id/1485661187) first, but found it a little cumbersome for my big thumbs.

    I ended up with [OctoNote](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/octonote/id1433164731), which allows you to use it free for public gists, and has a subscription if you want to do private. I like this one a little better, so I'll play around with it and see if it sticks.
