MySQLbackup-ng is a shell script that dumps a MYSQL database to a compressed file and optionally sends it with scp to a remote server.

MySQLbackup-ng aims to be 100% POSIX compatible shell script. Tested with Ubuntu Server 10.04 (default dash) and OpenBSD 4.9 (default public domain Bourne shell)
