I'm wondering if we should just eliminate the "raise" option altogether. Looks like it does a bunch of window tricks prior to executing the dialog. https://github.com/keepassxreboot/keepassxc/blob/develop/src/gui/MessageBox.cpp#L123-L128 |
Maybe. We tend to handle raise events outside that class anyway. |

Also if you apply always on top when their is a parent set (ie not nullptr first argument) them that will actually apply to the mainwindow. That's probably why this works well when you remove the database widget as a parent. |

MessageBox::Raisecauses this Message Box to not appear if the parent is something else thannullptr. On X11 and macOS the Message Box is not displayed at all. With Wayland it's displayed but the background is transparent.Regression from #9652.
