#83 is fixed upstream. The game should be working now.
If you have been swapping different wine builds to test and swapped between wine 8 and wine 7 sometimes when the wine version changes, going reverse from 8 back to 7 can create broken prefixes due to the prefix being upgraded to wine 8 then not being able to be downgraded. The reason this breaks is because wine 8 introduces new functions that do not exist in wine 7. When you start the game, it may say something like unimplemented function winegstreamer.dll.winegstreamer_create_video_decoder.
In this case, you need to reinstall the wine prefix. You can reinstall the wine prefix without reinstalling the game by running leagueoflegends reset-wineprefix.
