LDP Music representation language. Reference manual

This repo contains the source files. The manual, once built, is at https://lenmus.github.io/ldp/

The LDP language

The LenMus LDP notation language is a general purpose formal language for representing music scores in plain-text in a human-readable way.

LDP is the language used in the LenMus project (http://www.lenmus.org/). It is a free and open source project. The LenMus Phonascus program can be used for rendering, printing and playing back any score in LDP format.

Also, as part of the LenMus project you will find the Lomse library (https://github.com/lenmus/lomse); it is a free open source library to provide software developers with a C++ library for rendering, editing and playing back music scores. With it, you can add capabilities to any program for displaying and editing music scores. It is written in C++ and it is platform independent. It also support scores in MusicXML language.
