2048 but it's the Fibonacci Sequence
10946 is a recreation of the popular game, 2048. In the original game, players can swipe on the screen to combine equal numbers in a particular direction, with the goal of reaching 2048. In my adaptation, the game follows the logic of the Fibonacci sequence, so only numbers that are adjacent on the sequence can be merged. Despite the name of the game, the game can continue until no more valid moves are available.
This project was inspired by Daniel Shiffman's project. I followed his video tutorial, and made the following changes:
- Refactored the code to make it more object-oriented
- Added animations
- Changed the game logic such that boxes can only be merged when they are adjacent Fibonacci numbers
- Added the option to undo and restart
