This repository contains binaries for ANGLE for x86_64 Windows, Linux, and macOS. The binaries are build via GitHub workflows which are based on https://github.com/xiaozhuai/angle_builds/. The binaries are used by the gdx-lwjgl3-angle in the libGDX repository, allowing libGDX desktop applications to use ANGLE to emulate OpenGL ES 2 and 3. This is especially useful on macOS, where OpenGL support is broken in different ways.
The binaries in this repository are downloaded as part of the fetchNatives
task in libGDX's Gradle build, and placed in gdx-lwjgl3-angle/res
. The binaries are updated manually by triggering the workflows, then pushing the resulting artifacts to this repository.
