Installation

Prerequisites

  1. Windows Vista SP2 or higher
  2. Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.2

(Note there is an older version that supports .NET 3.5 and Windows XP on the releases page

Manual installation

The application can be installed manually, or via package management tool such as SCCM. These instructions will cover only the manual installation process

  1. Download the installer from the releases page
  2. Install the application using an account with administrative credentials
  3. Apply the manual configuration or group policy-based configuration
  4. Logoff and log back on to activate the application

The application will need to be installed on every machine on which you want to enforce idle log offs. The agent will not perform any action unless it is enabled, either manually, or via a group policy assigned to the user or computer.
