I'm going to close this because I'm having some weird issues locally. The streaming code is definitely broken, but I don't think this is a proper fix. |

I happened to try to revive an old bot that uses the streaming API, and noticed that it had stopped working. It looks like it broke with 82c7db2. This should restore functionality and apply a bunch of rubocop suggestions as well.
