en_win_7zip
7-Zip is one of the most powerful data compression and file archiving software available.
It is free and integrates well with Windows Explorer.
For compression or archiving it supports the formats:
- zip
- 7z
- tar
- gzip
- bzip2
- ...
and for decompression or unarchiving:
- rar
- cpio
- ...
To medInria, 7-zip is used to unzip the archive of the C ** Boost ** library.
It can later be very useful for file compression even in a other perimeter than that of medInria.
Follow default 7-Zip installation
Execute 7-Zip File Manager as administrator
Inside the options of 7-Zip File Manager associte 7-Zip, at least with 7z extansion.
