The official OpenJDK image has been deprecated. For more information on why this has been done, please see this thread.

Switching to Eclipse Temurin images is highly recommended. Adoptium also states to support LTS versions as long as the upstream is maintained.

When switching images we should also make sure to align jobs within the CI pipeline!

The switch also ensures getting security updates for a longer period of time (see maintenance statement above). This is especially important since we are already facing failed builds due to security vulnerabilities.

FYI @EmteZogaf. Important for other projects as well.
