1. Before Starting

Before starting using the esd package, we highly recommend you to go through the esd.pdf user guide which contains a full description of all functions included in the esdpackage and several examples. In case that you are not able to download the help file, you can easily generate it using the following command

$ R CMD Rd2pdf esd

where esd is a symbolic link or a full path name of the esd folder i.e. where the files are stored.
