This Tauri app displays a countdown timer in the system tray. I use it to show me how long I have left for my master thesis.
It is not as user friendly as I would like it to be, but it works for me. But if you want to contribute feel free to do so.
cargo tauri buildI will not upload binaries for this app. If you want to use it you have to build it yourself. I am not a registered Apple developer therefore I cannot sign binaries for macos.
The configuration file is located at $HOME/mcountdown.toml. You can specify the name of the countdown and the target date. The target date must be in the format YYYY-MM-DD.
