QR Code Based Information Access System
Objective: To create an application which enables students to retrieve data about Points of Interest (POI) in college campus, this would empower the students to increase their knowledge base about POIs. For example, if a student wants to know about a POI he/she, then he/she scans the QR Code present at that POI in his/her smartphone application which would provide him/her with relevant information about that POI.
Workflow: First, the student will scan QR code using his/her smartphone application which then processes the QR Code to retrieve the related information from the database.
Technologies: Java, Android Studio, Spring MVC, HIbernate ORM, MySQL.
