How to contribute

fork the repo
do your stuff (preferably in develop branch)
open pull request to upstream (https://github.com/outbounder/node-thequest) develop branch.

Your pull request is accepted when

doesn't include regressions (performance, feature & etc.)
provides more value to the overall game project

What is considered value to the overall game projet

bug fixes
feature addons
design improvements
