ARSnova is a modern, web-based approach to Audience Response Systems (ARS). It is the basis for the online service Particify and released under an open-source license.
This repository serves as an entry point to the project but does not contain the software itself.
-
Comments and Q & A: Let your audience create and prioritize comments or questions which you can answer.
-
Quizzes and evaluations: Select from multiple formats for quiz questions including multiple choice, likert scale, open question and sorting.
-
Live updates: Keep track of results and comments in real-time.
-
Collections: Organize quizzes or evaluations.
-
Moderation: Review comments before they are published. Assign additional users as moderators.
-
Feedback: Realize early when the audience can no longer follow.
A good starting point to run ARSnova yourself is the Docker Orchestration repository.
Documentation for end-users, administrators and developers is available:
-
End-user documentation (German only, an English version is planned)
-
For developers: Refer to the documentation in the individual component repositories.
The ARSnova software is composed of multiple components: the web client and multiple backend services.
These are the open-source components with their own repositories:
Starting from version 3, we are using a rolling release model for ARSnova development. We provide container images for all services which are continuously updated.
