Beta test programme
Please read all of the instructions below carefully before deciding whether to proceed with this Beta release.
In order to take part in the programme we ask that you please:
-
Be prepared that the application may malfunction.
- Have a recovery plan to deal with:
- the uploader failing without warning
- incorrect data being uploaded to your Nightscout database (e.g. wrong BG values, incorrect timestamps, etc.)
- drop-outs / gaps in the data
- Have a recovery plan to deal with:
-
Agree to post any new faults that you observe, filling out the information requested
-
Keep support queries contained to this submission process during the beta test, so that the developers can efficiently identify issues and focus on getting a release candidate with fixes out to everyone as soon as possible
-
Be comfortable with the fact that support will not always be available
This application communicates directly with your 600 Series pump via the Contour Next Link 2.4 meter. It only requests for a status update, using similar techniques to those used during a CareLink upload, and during Alpha testing no safety issues have been found.
However for your safety please ensure that you:
- Disable the remote bolus option on your 600 Series before using this application
- Monitor pump performance and BG levels closely whilst using this application
- Use a spare Contour Next Link 2.4 meter, or have an alternative means of measuring BG levels at all times
By using this beta release you agree to all of the above.
If you don't feel you have the technical experience or cannot comply with the above conditions, please wait for the full release which will be along as soon as possible.

Please read the Beta Test Programme Requirements in full before proceeding
