This is (IMHO) improved ConfigReader for python. I never liked the mindset of the STL ConfigReader: import ConfigParser config = ConfigParser.ConfigParser() config.read(configfile) config.get(section, item) <- This is what always annoyed me. Seems un-pythonic. So my reader does the same thing, this way: import ConfigReader config = ConfigReader.ConfigReader() config.read(configfile) config.section.item <- This works config.section[item] <- This works too! config[section].item <- So does this! config[section][item] <- As does this! getattr(config[section], item) <- And so does this, neato!
