Hi, this is my first decompilation pull request to this repo! I'm 100% open to feedback on if there's a better way to decompile+rename functions if the decompilation sheds light on the purpose of the function.
Broken into 2 commits to make the two halves of this more clear, the rename commit is just a global search/replace of the relevant names.
