The linked commit helped me build cli-r34, which was failing at link time looking for STRING_PTR_RO (macOS 10.14.6). As expected r35+ worked out of the box. |

I think it's nice for {cli} to be available for "very old" R, so I don't see a need to bump the dependency just to get
STRING_PTR_RO().
