Introduction

It simplifies the process of finding and hiring professionals for various tasks and services. Users can post images and descriptions of their problems, and professionals can bid on these tasks. Features

• User Registration and Authentication: Users can create accounts and log in securely to access the platform's features.

• Bidding System: Skilled professionals can view and bid on posted tasks, providing their quotes and proposed solutions.

Installation

Follow these steps to set up and run the Konect app locally:

1. Clone this repository to your local machine:

   git clone https://github.com/gratusrichard/konectapp.git
   

2. Navigate to the project directory:

   cd konectapp
   

3. Install the required dependencies:

   npm install
   

4. Set up the MongoDB database and configure the connection in the .env file, also setup cloudinary and mapbox env variables.

5. Start the server:

   npm start
   

6. Access the app in your web browser at http://localhost:3000.

Usage

1. Create an account or log in to your existing account.

2. Post a task by providing details and images.

3. Skilled professionals can view your task and submit bids with their quotes.

4. Review the bids and select the professional that suits your needs.

5. Communicate with the chosen professional through the platform's messaging system.

6. Once the task is completed to your satisfaction, mark it as "completed."

7. Provide feedback and ratings for the professional.

8.Inbuilt review system for professionals so that users can write a review aboout them
