This is the source code for LangMap.
- Download the Python Appengine SDK.
- Go to a terminal and clone this repository:
Ask Marcus for the private key to get access to google spreadsheets. This will have to be put in as privatekey.pem in the main directory, but has been removed from the public repository.
cd ~/folder/you/want/to/install/this/in
git clone [email protected]:sarum90/langmapper.git
- cd into the directory you just cloned and run the dev server:
cd langmap
dev_appserver.py .
# Might be `$UNZIP_LOC/google_appengine/dev_appserver.py .` on linux
- If this has errors:
- Maybe you need to install other python packages?
sudo pip install pycrypto
- Something else? Ask me, I might be able to help.
- Maybe you need to install other python packages?
- Navigate to localhost:8080
- You now have a running Langmap DevServer, click on a spreadsheet to view.
- In a separate terminal, or in a text editor like TextMate, Sublime, or
Notepad++, edit
static/js/main.js
in you favorite editor.- Try adding
alert("hello world");
at the top, and save the file. - Refresh the page.
- Tada, you are editting the source, no need to restart the server every time.
- Try adding
MIT for the langmapper code.
Note, some parts of this repository are not langmapper code and instead are dependencies, included in the repo for convenience. These libraries retain their original license. I've listed the licensing below, as best I can tell:
- gspread - BSD-like, see https://github.com/burnash/gspread, see gspread/LICENSE.txt
- oauth2client - Apache 2, see file headers
- apiclient - Apache 2, see file headers
- httplib2 - See file headers, looks BSD-like
