After multiple 1.0.0 preview releases, it is time we state it as stable and work on incremental improvements.

What's new?

When comparing to the previous 0.x releases this version of the runner-manager brings:

  • The capability of scaling runners down 0.
  • An improved developer experience, with ease of testing and local development setup.
  • Capability to use a GitHub app for authentication.
  • The addition of a vsphere backend.

Removals

The openstack backend has been removed, but may be re-introduced later on. (Contributions are welcome).
