Major build system update, using the Scikit-HEP developer guide. Wheels are now produced for all platforms, providing lightning fast installs. New build system should be drastically easier to install even from source, on a newish version of Pip (newer than 9, please). Several nice new features. Better CI and testing.
Future developments are likely only community driven, as there is no dedicated maintainer for this project. This is limited to an old version of iMinuit, still uses Cython, and is in need of serious performance work. If a maintainer is interested, please let us know; and we are able to review and merge PRs from the community. Please also see our newer fitting packages, like zfit for unbinnned fits.
