1. Checkout backport branch and update it.

git pull

2. Cherry pick the first parent branch of the this PR on top of the older branch:

git cherry-pick -x -m1 89a6c132c7edcf934eac52203b08945eadc4ad13

3. You will likely have some merge/cherry-pick conflict here, fix them and commit:

git commit -am 'Backport PR #2527: chore: [pre-commit.ci] pre-commit autoupdate'

4. Push to a named branch:

git push YOURFORK release/v0.7.x:auto-backport-of-pr-2527-on-release/v0.7.x

5. Create a PR against branch release/v0.7.x, I would have named this PR:

"Backport PR #2527 on branch release/v0.7.x (chore: [pre-commit.ci] pre-commit autoupdate)"

And apply the correct labels and milestones.
