Hi yt-koike, thanks very much for these translations! I have taken a quick a look at some of them and I too think that they are quite decently machine translated (I’m not a native Japanese speaker but I can read a bit of Japanese). I normally merge PRs on Saturday, Sundays so please feel free to make the amendments you need to this PR branch. Thanks a lot! :) |
I found something was off with population stats as you can see in the image below. This was because I accidentally translated symbols (like #foo# and [bar])which refers other words. |
Hi. I'm yt-koike, a native speaker of Japanese language.
I made localisation files for Cold War Era Mod of Victoria 3.
I translated files with 100 lines or less manually and I'm rather confident that they are written in natural Japanese language.
On the other hand, I used a Python script to translate other longer files so many of those translations look out of context or not even translated correctly.
Still, I think they are good enough for the very early development and I'll continue to revise those unnatural translations.
I've also tested these localised files on my Victoria 3 and found they are working well.
If you value development speed, please merge this PR.
Otherwise, I appreciate it if you could wait until I start working on the revision.
Thank you :)
