I like the concept. Maybe let me wordsmith it a bit. We should also expand this to cover things like gambling, violence, etc. When I was applying for the company bank they had a great list for this. I'll see if I can track that down.

I think some justification as to why just web3 is disallowed would be helpful.
I'd support a flat "no promoting your money-making endeavours" policy.
I think there are other controversial schemes one could promote that would be similarly disagreeable - a gambling website for instance.

Pretty sure that's going to be part of the list endigo9740 will dig up in the near future.
Also

In our experience, Web 3 (especially Crypto, NFT and Smart Contracts) is most often associated with money making scams and other unsavory activities.

seems like a reasonable explanation.

@jameslounds I mentioned other candidates for these restrictions directly in the post above yours.

You're right actually - that is a fair explanation.
Was trying to contribute, not criticise :)

All good, sorry if I came on negatively. Tbh I expected some backlash from this decision and viewed your comment in that light, which was wrong. Once more, sorry!

No worries, I was trying to help stop that (inevitable) backlash. Good luck!
