I see that there is a noarch version in the snowflake conda channel, and I know that I can install directly from git, but it would be much easier to test this out locally if there was an osx-compatible version either on pypi or a conda channel.

Is this an issue you ran into while doing local testing on your Mac? I'm trying to gauge the customer impact of this issue. I know there is a preview feature for supporting the Local Testing Framework, i.e. https://docs.snowflake.com/en/developer-guide/snowpark/python/testing-locally

Yes, I ran into this when testing locally on my Mac. What do you think of #7?

Looks good, we have some dependency cleanup we want to take care of first before releasing this library more widely. We will distribute a version that works on the Mac for local testing after the dependency cleanup. We are tracking this issue internally at SNOW-1042090, and I just made you the reporter of that issue. I'm closing this issue in favor of SNOW-1042090.
