I am a software contributor from India. In 2015, I was required to build a country selector for signup page and surprisingly I did not find any open source library for that. This was my moment of realization how much open source work means to the developer community. I was noob and it amazed me that open source contributors put their post-office hours in these project without any expectation of reward. That inspired my first android library country code picker. I was surprised to learn how many developers it helped since then. Later I created other developer tools like AVB Code Generator. Knowing that these tools helped others fills me with joy.
Passion for software engineering made my path for study and work in United States. I enjoyed conducting workshops of Android development for graduate students at the University of Texas at Dallas. Now I'm working at a start-up. I am working on next libraries to make development easier.
