Hello!

I'm Mitchel and I wear many hats, one of which is serving as the maintainer or creator of many open-source source projects. As with many others in the Open Source community, there is a large burden that comes with the act of maintaining Open Source products. The projects that I've created or support provide critical functions that either drive entire organizations' web-presence or provide supporting tooling for developer productivity.

My Projects

The following is an overview of the projects that I contribute to on a regular basis, in no particular order.

Azure DevOps Extensions

I created, and maintain, a suite of Azure DevOps extensions that have been created to help developers accomplish build/release tasks with ease that are not available out of the box from Azure. These tasks allow for enterprise-grade builds and releases without substantial effort and even include fixes for known bugs with .NET Core.

This project requires regular updates due to the changing nature of .NET Core and Azure Dev Ops.

.NET Core Utilities

I created a suite of .NET Core utilities, pinned below, that were created to improve developer productivity and allow for better unit testing by moving boiler-plate code into re-usable NuGet packages. These packages need regular care and feeding due to the fast nature of changes within the .NET Core project.

DNN Platform (aka DotNetNuke)

I am on the team of leaders for the DNN Platform project, I serve as the leader of the Platform/Technology Group. I spend approximatly 40-60 hours per-month supporting this project doing anything from issue verification, pull request reviews, actual code changes, volunteer coordination and anything else.

The DNN Platform is used by more than 500k websites and is the largest .NET Open Source Content Management System (CMS). The success of this project is key for the wide user base and we have a lot of work ongoing.

Why Support Me?

As much as I love giving back to the community, it is done on a volunteer basis, and I cannot always dedicate the time I want. If you have benefited from my contributions sponsoring is a great way to share the love and help me dedicate my time to making things better for everyone!
