Hi 👋, we are the Parse Community, maintainers of the open source Parse Platform. The Parse Platform consists of Parse Server, our fully featured self-hosted low code backend which is complemented by an easy to use dashboard and a range of adapters. We also have a whole host of client SDKs including JavaScript, iOS, Android, PHP and the new additions of a pure Swift SDK and Flutter SDK.

The Parse Platform is constantly innovating with new feature development whilst continuing to address security vulnerabilities and fixing bugs. All this is thanks to our wonderful community - the Parse Platform is built by the community for the community.

Supporting us financially is a great way to help ensure the maintenance and improvement of the Parse Platform. It enables us to provide services to the community such as our forum and pay for our website domain that hosts our documentation.

We also use the funds we receive to run a Paid Contributors Program which provides a monthly stipend to select members of our team to support and encourage them to fulfil a consistent role within the community. The program helps to keep the community moving forward with new feature development, bug fixing, ensuring timely patches of vulnerabilities and administrative tasks.

All funds go directly to our Open Collective to maintain the highest level of transparency.
