By converting it to a package, it makes installation simpler, execution simpler, and the tool generally easier to work with.
Note: Whilst this changes to a package, I've not moved the linting config over to
pyproject.toml- that can be done at a later date.The diff here seems huge, but it appears to be mostly caused by linters needing reconfiguring for the new layout, and fixing issues now they're actually running correctly.
