Actions Required
If you are using previous version of Stash, please follow the steps below to upgrade.
- Get all your Restic objects.
$ kubectl get restic.stash.appscode.com --all-namespaces -o yaml > data.yaml
- Delete the old Restic objects from all namespaces one by one. Please make sure you exported the existing Restic objects correctly in Step 1.
$ kubectl delete restic.stash.appscode.com --all --cascade=false
- Now wait for Stash operator to remove
stash
sidecar container from your workloads. Run the following command to confirm:
$ kubectl get pods --all-namespaces --watch

Now uninstall the Stash operator following the steps here.

Now reinstall Stash operator following the steps here.

Update your Restic objects in data.yaml as needed.

Recreate your new Restics.
kubectl create -f data.yaml
If you are using Stash with StatefulSet workloads, please update them accordingly.
