Thanks for wanting to improve stoken! I'm not sure why you'd need to run ldconfig. Can you explain how to reproduce the problem you're trying to solve?

I guess ldcondig updates the run-time linker cache.

See ld.so(8) and ldoncfig(8) man pages:

ldconfig creates the necessary links and cache to the most recent shared libraries found in the directories specified on the command line, in the file /etc/ld.so.conf, and in the trusted directories, /lib and /usr/lib.
