          "creds": {
              // API tokens, never passwords
              // don't rely on these keys, this is an example
              "google": "TOKEN123"
          },
          "prefs": {
              // you can omit default settings here if you want

          "prefs": true,
          "creds": true
      }

      Example response: (comments not present in real response)

      {
          "prefs": {
              // don't rely on these keys, this is an example
              "time24h": true,
              "accentColor": "blue"
          },
          "creds": {
              // API tokens, never passwords
              // again, don't rely on these keys
              "google": "TOKEN123"
          }
      }
  • POST /v1/alter

      • creds (object) update the credentials of this person
      • prefs (object) update the preferences of this person
    • Returns:
      • 200 OK - Alteration successful.
      • 403 Forbidden - Credential verification failed; no access to alter data
      • 404 Not Found - Requested user does not exist
      • 400 Bad Request - JSON Payload was invalid

    The creds and prefs objects do not have to be the full objects.

    Any keys inside of them will update the stored preferences; think of them as "delta" preferences.

  • DELETE /v1/delete

    Deletes the user.

    • JSON Payload:
      • user (string) the person's username
      • secret (string) the person's password
    • Returns:
      • 200 OK - Deletion successful.
      • 403 Forbidden - Credential verification failed; no access to delete
      • 404 Not Found - Requested user does not exist
      • 400 Bad Request - JSON Payload was invalid
