The latest version of permission_handler, 8.2.5, is not compatible with our version of dart (2.12). To use the latest version of permission_handler, we should upgrade dart to 2.14. To upgrade dart to 2.14, flutter should be upgraded to 2.5.X or later. This will need to be changed in the github actions workflows.

  • Temporarily fixed by downgrading permission_handler to 8.1.6
