This release includes cross platform support improvement including:

  • Automatic handling of Windows special characters, so announcements that are generated on a Windows machine work, without needing to manually converted to Unicode. (ANNPLT-136, #58)
  • The Announcements portlet can now be built on a Windows machine (ANNPLT-131, #59)
  • The Announcements portlet now builds with Java 8 by default (#57)
