Visit https://find-me.life and get started!
If you don't have an existing account, select "sign-up" upon the application's initial screen. On the sign-up page, you get to select a username, e-mail and password. E-mail and password will be required in the future for log-in. The username must be unique and will also be the name by which other users can find you with in the application. Make sure to select a descriptive and suitable username as you cannot change it anymore!
Next, you get to enter your name and surname and you can create a bio. All of the three will be visible to other users. If you are unsure what to write, no worries, you can change those fields again at a later point in time.
For the best user experience, make sure to add the application to your homescreen in order to make use of the full PWA functionality.
Sign in with an existing account. In case you forgot your password, there is a password reset function.
On the profile page you can see your profile information, your game stats and whom you follow/who is following you. Here, you can further see all your created and solved riddles.
The post location riddle screen is where the magic happens. Here you can upload an existing picture or take a new one. The location is automatically captured based on your smartphone location. In case it is incorrect, you can manually adjust it. Before publishing your location riddle, you can add tags to make it pop up in public arenas.
What are arenas? Arenas help users to navigate and find riddles that align with their interests more easily. For example, an arena could be a specific city, a type of location like beaches or mountains, or even a theme like historical sites or famous landmarks. Keep in mind that arenas are public! This means that every user of the application can see and participate in the riddles grouped under an arena
The feed is the first thing you see after logging-in/signing-up. Here you can see all location riddles from your friends and you can interact with them. Through the navigation bar at the bottom you can navigate to other screens for posting, searching for users, you can go to your network or view your profile.
By clicking on the map icon at the bottom left, you can switch between the picture (left) and the map (right). Make a guess by placing the pin on the map (right).
After solving a location riddle it is also possible to rate it.
You can easily select different location riddle arenas in your feed.
On the network page you get to see all pending follow request. Here, you can either accept or decline them. Be careful since in the current version you cannot change this anymore.
