User Guide

This page explains the whole application flow.

0.0 Account creation

0.1 Sign up through Auth0

If you don't have an existing account, select "sign-up" upon the application's initial screen. On the sign-up page, you get to select a username, e-mail and password. E-mail and password will be required in the future for log-in. The username must be unique and will also be the name by which other users can find you with in the application. Make sure to select a descriptive and suitable username as you cannot change it anymore!

Register using Auth0 Grant access

0.2 Enter personal details and bio

Next, you get to enter your name and surname and you can create a bio. All of the three will be visible to other users. If you are unsure what to write, no worries, you can change those fields again at a later point in time.

0.3 Add application to your homescreen

For the best user experience, make sure to add the application to your homescreen in order to make use of the full PWA functionality.

1.0 Sign in

Users register through Auth0

Sign in with an existing account. In case you forgot your password, there is a password reset function.

Home Screen/Feed

The feed is the first thing you see after logging-in/signing-up. Here you can see all location riddles from your friends and you can interact with them. Through the navigation bar at the bottom you can navigate to other screens for posting, searching for users, you can go to your network or view your profile.

On the profile view you can see your profile information, your game stats and whom you follow/who is following you.

Edit profile

By clicking on the "Edit profile" button, you can edit your profile information such as your first name, last name and bio.

Followers & Following

By clicking on "followers" you can see whom you are following. The same goes for "following
