Objectives, Goals, Purpose
High-level goal is that lots of people would take this course, and then more people would understand, implement, and advocate for digital accessibility.
Specific goals of this page are to make clear that this course:
is for technical and non-technical folks
provides an important foundation for all aspects of accessibility, e.g., developers should understand how people with disabilities use the web (not just jump right into trying to code for accessibility without understanding the why, AT, etc.)
includes practical guidance that you can use now to get going on accessibility (for various roles)
Audience
people who would take the course themselves (some or all of the course modules)
people who would assign or require others to take the course, e.g., managers, professors
people who would encourage others to take the course
Notes
From this course, developers will have the knowledge to make simple web pages accessible. (Not be experts or do all advanced things.)
