Here are the initial steps in GitHub to update this translation:

1. Fork the w3c/wai-intro-accessibility
2. Change to the branch el-greek
3. Update the file content/index.el.md
4. Commit your changes on your forked repository, and open a Pull Request in this repository.

For this article, what should I do here at GitHub?

To know what to update in this translation, you will need to spot the changes in the English version. Here is how:

• You can read the Changelog.
• And/or look at this GitHub diff
  Go to the "Files changed" tab and look for content/index.md to see what has changed.

I am not sure if I got it. :-(

I made the changes mentioned to the webpage's changelog at https://github.com/pkoutsod/wai-intro-accessibility/blob/pkoutsod-patch-1/index.el.md but when I go to the main repository, I don't find it.

Can you please help me? What should I do next?

Hi @pkoutsod,

I have taken a look at the situation and think the 3 following steps may fix this. If you prefer, I can fix this for you. Let me know.

1. Sync your forked repo. Your forked repository was created some years ago and new commits have been added to the W3C repo since.

• Go to https://github.com/pkoutsod/wai-intro-accessibility/tree/pkoutsod-patch-1 and look for the banner containing "This branch is 3 commits ahead, 135 commits behind w3c:gh-pages". Click on "Sync fork", and "Update branch". Here is an example screenshot from my forked repo:

2. Move your index.el.md file into content/ folder. When you first translated the file in 2019, it was directly at the root of the repository, but it is now located in this folder.

• To do so, edit the file in GitHub, and add content/ at the beginning of the name of the file.

• Commit this change.

3. Open a Pull Request in this repository to merge your edits with this Pull Request

• In https://github.com/w3c/wai-intro-accessibility/pulls, click on "New pull request"
• Choose w3c/wai-intro-accessibility as "base repository", el-greek as "base", pkoutsod/wai-intro-accessibility as "head repository", pkoutsod-patch-1 as "head".
• Then "Create the pull request"

If you do not see "base repository" and "head repository" fields (example in the screenshot below), click on "compare across forks" link

Please note that this resource has been moved to another repository. I have therefore re-created the pull request at w3c/wai-website#837

I have also fixed the problems you encountered.

However, since the original resource has been updated in February and March 2024, this translation would need update to be published. Would you still be willing and available to help achieve this? I would be happy to help you along the way.
