Config update for iRODS 4.2.7
Add a time-out option
Add a time-out option (-t minutes) after which the open iRODS object will be closed and then reopened again. The write (or read) will then continue from where it left off.
This is an attempt to work around an iRODS socket/pipe failure that we have observed in some of the longer running (an hour or more) write operations.
Force Write
Allow tears to overwrite an existing file if the force option is set. This release also makes the -w flag mandatory when writing to iRODS.
Bug Fix Release
A small number of bug fixes. Array size lengthened and some improvements to URI handling.
Added Optional Write Flag
Added an optional write flag -w in preparation of making it mandatory in the next release. See #3
Updated for iRODS >4.18
Code and configure scripts updated to work with iRODS 4.18+ (while still working with iRODS 3.3).
Identifies itself to iRODS
Now sends program identification to the iRODS servers.
Initial Release
Initial release of tears.
