LaTeX 1: Importing tables and figures - Doodle link

This training is an introduction to the concepts needed to create a LaTeX document with tables and figures created, for example, Stata or R.

After this exercise, you will be able to create a document that is automatically updated each time the code in Stata or R is updated and ran. The document it generates is meant to be either an appendix of tables and graphs, or a report with initial results that updates instantly.

GitHub: Setting up for team work - Doodle link

This training will explore some basic features of GitHub and present a workflow suggestion for team work using the platform. It is recommended for teams who are migrating projects to GitHub.

Best practices on data management and cleaning - Doodle link

Overview of DIME's standards and best practices for (1) organizing folders and do-files, and (2) cleaning survey data. This training is part of the onboarding of new Research Assistants, but other staff are welcome to join. It is longer than and not as exercise-focused as other trainings, as it is supposed to give incoming staff a general idea of how to organize their work, but it is extremely relevant.
