Trying to Edit Tags

Figure 7: Image Gallery / Tag Editor

  • (Fig. 7) Alter the following:
    • After the dataset directory structure has been generated AND that there is data in the img_downloads folder ( proceed )
    • Click on the file type to be observed and/or edited (refer to Fig. 11)

  • (Fig. 11) Alter the following:
    • User may now select several features to either refine their search of image/s & tag/s or edit them
    • ( NOTE ) When searching and/or applying settings/changes to images, be sure to select the checkboxes of what to apply the changes to (i.e. if changes to searched images are desired, then select the searched checkbox and file type/s having been searched)
    • ( NOTE ) Changes made to image/s and/or tag/s are not permanent until the save button is applied
      • A search bar is provided with an example of providing a positive and negative tag to search image/s to for, this can be expanded to "any" set of positive and negative tags
      • (Optional) Sort images by date
      • (Optional) Check the checkbox for selecting multiple images to apply changes to
      • Select any image to begin Adding and/or Removing Tag/s
      • To add a tag/s simply type in the tags as per the example above the textbox and press enter as seen in Fig. 12 and (batch mode is when "any" of the file type checkboxes are pressed)
      • To remove tag/s simply select them as seen in Fig. 13 and click remove (batch mode is when "any" of the file type checkboxes are pressed)
      • To multi-select images for additional batch mode configurations, simply check the "Multi-Select" checkbox and begin selecting files as seen in Fig. 14
      • Removing image/s follows the same progression as removing tag/s. "ANY" image/s with the selected tag/s will be deleted. (RECALL) changes are only made permanent when pressing the save button.

  • (Fig. 5) Alter the following:
    • (Optional) If the user desires to apply additional changes to all images all at once, there are the following options on Fig. 5
      • Provide a path to file with single tags on each line to remove from all images after pressing the remove button
      • Provide a path to file with comma separated tag pairs on each line to replace from all images the first tag and replacing with a "TAG SEQUENCE" after pressing the remove button (i.e. tag_to_replace, replacement_tags_comma_separated)
      • search for a particular tag and/or multiple, the tag/s to use, and the option of the tag/s to go before or after the tag/s being searched for
