  • If, after exporting an MP3 file, the file is larger than 1 MB, adjust the quality to lower the size

  • Follow the directions above under Formatting, but click on "Options" before hitting "Save"

  • Select a "Quality" lower than the current one and save the file

Check and see if the file is now under 1 MB. If it's not, repeat the process, but choose a lower quality setting. Always listen to the audio clip after saving to make sure lowered quality levels do not affect the listener's ability to understand a speaker's words
