# Zia Maria Spaghetti Sauce

- 1 large onion
- 3 T oil
- 1 t basil
- 4 oz can slice mushrooms (save juice)
- 1 t rosemary (+)
- 3/4 lb ground beef
- 1 t Worcestershire sauce
- 1 T powdered beef bouilon
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 15 oz tomato sauce
- 6 oz tomato paste
- Salt to taste
- Allspice to taste (4-5 shakes)
- Margarine

1. Brown onion in oil slowly - cover pan
2. Add basil when onions are friend
3. Chop mushrooms; add to onions
4. Add rosemary
5. Brown beef in 10" skillet
6. Drain grease
7. Add onion mixture to beef
8. Put a little water in onion pan to get everything out - add to beef
9. Add Worsetershire, bouillon, garlic, tomato sauce and paste, mushroom juice, and allspice
10. Salt to taste
11. Simmer slowly till just comes to boil
12. Turn heat off
13. Add margarine and let it melt in sauce
14. Reheat and stir up when ready to use
15. Add a few shavings of Parmesan cheese if desired

Good on all pasta, but especially gnocchi.
